Every other AF1 style on this site is representational — it depicts something you can name. A drip depicts flowing paint. A floral depicts roses. An anime AF1 depicts a character. Even a gradient depicts a color transition happening in a specific direction.

Abstract art doesn't depict. It expresses. The brushwork itself is the content — the energy of the stroke, the tension between colors, the movement of form across the surface. The subject of an abstract AF1 is the painting itself. Not what it looks like, but what it does.

This is the most open-ended AF1 style because the design isn't constrained by what it has to look like. It can be anything the color, form, and the artist's hand produce together.
