What Size to Order — Kids' Nike AF1 Sizing Explained
Nike Air Force 1 comes in three kids' categories. For custom work, Grade School (GS) sizes offer the most canvas area for detailed character art. Here's how the sizes break down and what to order.

GS is the recommended size category for most custom kids' orders — it provides a large enough canvas for detailed character art while still fitting children ages 7–13. Many older kids and tweens (age 12+) are already wearing adult sizes. Include the child's current shoe size in the design request and StyleReels will confirm the right model before production begins.
Sizing Tips for Kids' Custom AF1 Orders
- Kids' GS AF1s run true to size — order the child's current school shoe size for an accurate fit.
- If the child is between sizes or growing fast, sizing up half a size gives growing room without losing fit.
- Nike GS size 7Y equals Women's size 8.5 — teens and tweens may fit in adult women's sizes and get the full adult canvas.
- Always measure the child's foot before ordering — kids' feet change quickly. Include the measurement in centimeters if you're unsure of the size.
- Toddler (TD) and Preschool (PS) sizes have smaller canvas areas. Simple designs (name, solid color, simple character) work best. Complex full character art works best on GS and adult sizes.
- If ordering as a gift and you don't know the child's size, ask the parent or check the size of a current pair they wear often.
